With 57 teenage girls under our wing, we’re on a mission to empower these young women, offering them the support and guidance they need to navigate the complexities of early motherhood while pursuing their dreams.
Central to our program are monthly sessions where teenage mothers gather to receive essential health talks and guidance from our dedicated project staff and esteemed officials from the Ministry of Health. These sessions serve as invaluable platforms for not just imparting knowledge but also fostering a sense of community and support among the girls.
In these sessions, counselling plays a pivotal role, offering teenage mothers a safe space to express their fears, dreams, and aspirations. Our counselors work tirelessly to encourage these young women not to give up on their dreams, reminding them that motherhood is not a barrier but a steppingstone towards a brighter future.
Beyond counselling, our program is committed to helping teenage mothers map out their next steps after childbirth. For those eager to resume their education, we provide tailored guidance and support, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to succeed academically. Similarly, for those interested in vocational skills, we offer comprehensive support to help them acquire the necessary skills to thrive in their chosen fields.
Moreover, recognizing the importance of economic empowerment, we assist girls in starting income-generating activities based on their interests and skills.
